[Heeeeere's Clover! She's standing at the entrance of Goldenrod, beaming wide and holding the Gear at arm's length in front of her with her free hand. There's a tiny Gible tucked under her other arm, gnawing idly on a rock, and a Munna buried in one of her bushy pigtails.]
Finally! I was going stir crazy in Violet City, but stomping around outside wasn't any better. And look who hatched just in time to see the big city! [The whole frame jostles as Clover hefts her Gible up in her arm. The Pokémon squeaks, clinging to the rock, and fidgets in an attempt to get a little closer to the camera.] Introducing Princess Pearl Chompathia the Great! Isn't she the cutest...teeth...dinosaur...shark thing you've ever seen?! Thanks a whole bunch, Anna!
[Apparently unimpressed by this grand title, Princess doesn't respond until Clover tries shifting her again and poor Princess drops her chew toy stone. Distressed barking is heard off-screen, Princess starts to whine, the Munna makes noises that sound like complaints, and Clover sighs.]
Anyway— [She'll deal with this momentarily; she's just gonna yell over all of the sad Pokémon noises happening for now.] —I've spent waaay too much time hiking around in the woods by myself lately, and since Goldenrod seems like the place to be, I wanna know what all the best places to hang out are! So lemme know, okay? And—ugh, one sec—all right, you two, calm— [Aaaand the video's off. Give her a minute or two.]
action a
[The problem with keeping half your Pokémon out at once is if one of them gets into trouble, all of them do. It takes Clover no time at all to figure that one out after the video's been shut off—and that's the story behind the tiny pink-haired girl darting up and down the street in pursuit of one Pokémon or another: Princess is fluctuating between wailing over her lost chew toy and chasing around Lady the Snubbull (her new favorite game!), Lady barks and whines and runs circles around Clover in an attempt to escape the horrifying teeth monster, Daisy the Munna keeps rolling out of Clover's pigtail as she runs about and going back to her spot whenever Clover stops to fret over her where she hovers in the air—and so on, and so on.
Surrounded by the same purplish glow that engulfs Daisy every time she tumbles and catches herself, the rock Princess had been chewing on hovers a few feet above Clover's head. Everyone who isn't a trouble-making Munna is too busy running circles around each other to notice where the lost chew toy has gone.
Clover bends down to scoop Lady up in her arms, hears Daisy squeak as she tumbles, puts Lady back down to snatch Daisy before she gets the chance to fall, Lady sprints away with Princess in toddling pursuit—] Lady! Get back here! Oh my god—
[Someone please help her pull herself together.]

[Eventually Clover manages to get everybody to stop losing their minds, so she goes on a short, well-deserved shopping trip and takes a seat on a park bench to people-watch, eat her snacks, and...blow bubbles.
Yep. Somewhere in the department store she found something to unite her collection of weird animals, and it is a bottle of bubble soap and a wand. Lady and a grand total of three Munna bounce about the area in front of her, chasing after and headbutting and nosing and (in Lady's case, anyway) occasionally running in fear of the clusters of bubbles Clover blows in their direction.
There are, of course, plenty of bubbles to go around, being missed and carried off by the wind, if any other easily-distractable creatures (or people; bubbles are pretty rad, after all) are in the area.]

Princess can't quite decide whether she wants to continue her chase or see about this potential new playmate—she's still standing in the middle of the street in immense confusion when Clover dashes over, Lady hauled up into her arms and Daisy tucked into a pigtail.]
You too, you little brat. [With everyone gathered all together, at least Princess doesn't have anyone to chase after at the moment. Instead she stands at Clover's feet and squawks, hoping to be answered with affection.] Thanks so much for stopping them. The brat's just hatched so she wants to do everything, and everything scares the dog, so they're troublemakers.

[He offers a bright smile, glancing from her to her entourage.]
A shame that they were in such a hurry to escape such a lovely flower. I, for one, would be thrilled to spend time in your company.
[Annd... there he goes, slipping back into his typical habits. That didn't last long.]
